An 800-acre ranch in Bandera County is on the market for $16 million.

The property is called Skull Creek Ranch and is being listed by West and Swope Ranches. Just shy of 10,000 square feet, the main home on the property was designed by San Antonio-based Overland Partners and overlooks a 10-acre lake on the property. 

At the heart of the property is a 9,744-square-foot lakefront estate, complete with oversized windows to take in the surrounding landscape

The Nimitz Lake Ranchette is more than just a picturesque piece of land; it is a gateway to myriad investment opportunities. Its prime location in Kerrville, with extensive waterfront and road frontage, combined with the region's thriving economy and ongoing development, positions it as a top-tier investment. About 40 miles northeast of downtown Austin, a 245-acre rural property just came on the market a little more than a month ago that its broker, Louie Swope of San Antonio-based West and Swope Ranches, thinks is the "next to domino fall."
