Thad’s roots run deep in the Brush Country of South Texas. His great grandfather Rocky Reagan Sr. was a cattleman until he was 91 years old. His grandfather, Flournoy, (Mutt) and Father Wesley followed in Mr. Rocky’s footsteps. At an early age Thad begin working cattle alongside them in the brush country of South Texas. Some favorite memories of his childhood are hunting, fishing, and roping in his hometown of George West, Texas. This is where Thad’s love for the outdoors and ranch life were formed. During Jr. High and High School, he participated in the TYRA and High School rodeo association. He qualified for the state finals for steer wrestling and team roping two years in a row during high school. After high school Thad attended Texas State University while working on a ranch in the Texas Hill Country. He has worked cattle on numerous ranches and also has hauled cattle throughout Texas during his adult life. ◦ In April, Thad will marry Margaret Goebel, whose ancestors are also Live Oak County ranchers for many generations. Together they have six children and twelve grandchildren. Thad resides in San Antonio but enjoys spending any free time he has in his hometown of George West. Thad’s knowledge and love for the ranches of south Texas makes him the perfect choice as your realtor, whether you are buying or selling.
