Shin Oaks Ranch
Mountain Home, TX. Kerr County
The Shin Oaks ranch is a beautiful 851 acre oak studded high fenced ranch with magnificent topography changes that provide hill top vistas along with draws and creek bottoms. This Hill Country ranch is a turnkey hunting ranch with many exotics and big whitetail deer already under management. The ranch is located just a few miles south of Garvin Store and less than two hours west of San Antonio.
The wildlife on the ranch is very impressive, each time you drive the ranch you are bound to see trophy game. The ranch is high fenced and is home to Whitetail deer, Scimitar Oryx, Axis deer, Blackbuck, and Fallow. There are breeding pens on the property though they have not been used in a few years.
The terrain of Shin Oaks Ranch is beautiful with hill top views, draws that create wet weather creeks bottoms and pastures with giant oaks scattered throughout. The current owners have done quite a bit of cedar control and the past highlighting the oaks on the ranch.
There are two water wells on the property one servicing the home on the ranch with a sizeable storage tank and the other on the opposite side of the property. The well not servicing the home is a windmill and provides water to a tank below.
